Gabriela Timothy, M.Ed

Founder & CEO

Gabriela is the CEO & Founder of Learned Potential. Learned Potential was established in 2017 as a learning specialist firm and a direct solution to families growing needs for resources for students with disabilities in the classroom setting.

After managing the New Charter Process, Annual Charter Evaluation, and Charter Renewal for the Philadelphia Charter School’s Office 87 schools, Learned Potential expanded services to support district leaders, charter CEO’s and principals with MTSS implementation, strategic planning, charter renewal guidance, and special education implementation. 

Gabriela has over a decade of experience in the education field as a Special Education Teacher, School Administrator, Education Consultant, Education Program Director, and Charter School Authorizer for the School District of Philadelphia. She is a certified educator with a dual master’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, and a 2023 Doctoral Candidate at St. Joseph’s University. Her concentration is Universal Design for Learning, Education Equity, and Multi-Tiered Support Systems for Diverse Learners.

Gabriela’s mission today and every day is to empower students, local education agencies, and communities to reach their ultimate potential Along with her amazing team, she provides guidance in the form of coaching, program diagnostics, data analytics, research, implementation support and strategic planning to support district leaders and communities with the most effective tools to help students succeed.

Mckelly Timothy M. Ed

Senior Consultant, Early Childhood Education

Mckelly is a senior consultant at Learned Potential, as well as an early intervention specialist with a master’s degree in Health and Wellness Education. Her focus is educating children and families while empowering and increasing a family's capacity to support their child in reaching their highest potential in their early years. She is passionate and deeply committed to improving educational institutions through diversity, access to services, and holistic learning.

McKelly brings experience in special education, health and wellness education, and early intervention. She works closely with families, learning centers, and children to create ideal environments to maximize learning and the development of foundational skills. Furthermore, she ensures that innovative systems of support are in place to meet the unique and individual needs of children.
